Types of Follow-up Management
- Production Site Investigation
- The certification authority or supervisory institution (National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service) visit the production site and investigate the production processes for determining if certification recipients keep complying with the certification criteria and making sure there is no violations.
- Distribution Stage Investigation
- A supervisory institution (National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service) investigates the certified products in the distribution for determining if they comply with the certification criteria and view labeling standards.
Investigation Period
- Conduct production site investigation at least once per year per every certificate.
- Conduct production site investigation at least twice per year in case the certificate recipient has got an administrative measure or the harmful remaining materials have been found in the products within 3 years.
- Conduct production site investigation besides the regular investigations according to the ad-hoc plan of the director general of National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service.
- Conduct investigations mostly during the growing season or on the production stage of relevant products, when there are more chances to violate the certification criteria.
Investigation in details
- Documents related to business operation
- Release ledger of the certified product
- Valid view labeling of the certified product
- Inspection on the purchase, storage, and use of prohibited materials
- Check on each compliance to the standards
- Check on execution of action plans submitted with application forms
- Check on real producer of collected agricultural and livestock samples for the manufacturers, processors, and handlers.
